Xiaomi 14 Ultra announced in India, check out specifications

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been announced in India. The company previously asserted that the device won't make it to the country and it has now surprised fans by saying that the Ultra will launch in the country. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was previously limited to only China and is not even available in the global markets. The company might have changed its decision related to the Ultra model as it was previously asserted that only the standard model would be announced.
I got the chance to experience it at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) event and I can say that the wait will likely be worth it because it seemingly has a great camera and is capable of delivering solid performance of the box. Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Price in India
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a starting price of Rs 99,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model. Interested consumers can reserve the device starting March 11. For this, one will have to pay Rs 9,999. It will likely be seen competing with high-end phones such as iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12 and more. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will go on sale in India on April 12 across mi.com and Mi Home.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Specs
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display, offering a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness level of 3,000nits. The display, curved from all sides, is fortified with Shield Glass for enhanced durability. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage, users can expect swift responsiveness and ample storage space. The phone runs on the latest Android 14-based HyperOS.
In terms of photography, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a quad rear camera setup. Housed within a circular module, the camera system is led by a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Accompanying this are two 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors, each offering unique optical zoom capabilities of 3.2x and 5x, with focal lengths of 75mm and 120mm respectively. Additionally, a fourth 50-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens is also present. On the front, a 32-megapixel sensor handles selfie duties.
Powering the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a 5,300mAh battery, supported by 90W wired, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities, ensuring users stay connected throughout the day. There is also an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the handset boasts an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance.
