According to Chosun Biz, Won Bin appeared deeply somber as he paid his respects to Kim on Monday. He and his wife, South Korean actress Lee Na Young, had sent a wreath to express their condolences earlier.
Other celebrities, including actresses Han So Hee and Kim Bo Ra, as well as singers Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Soo Hyun, visited the mortuary to honor Kim. Additionally, singer IU, actor Gong Myung, and the band FT Island supported by sending wreaths.
Kim was discovered deceased at her home in Seoul on Sunday, after a friend, who had been unable to contact her for a planned meeting, found her body. The authorities reported no signs of forced entry or foul play at the location.
Her funeral is set for Wednesday at 6:20 a.m. and will be held privately.
Before her death at age 25, Kim was celebrated as a "child prodigy" in the South Korean acting scene, receiving numerous awards during her career, including a nomination for Best Actress at the prestigious Baeksang Awards, making her the youngest ever nominee.
However, in recent years, it was reported that she faced struggles with depression and financial difficulties.
Born Kim Do Jin, 48-year-old Won Bin rose to widespread fame in 2000 with his role in the television series "Autumn in My Heart." Known as one of the most selective actors in the Korean entertainment industry, he has appeared in just six movies and eight drama series to date.
His latest screen appearance was in the 2010 movie "The Man from Nowhere," which became the highest-grossing film of the year in South Korea.
