PETALING JAYA: Time users across Malaysia are experiencing a service disruption in Internet connectivity and have taken to the Internet service provider's (ISPs) social media pages to report the outage.

In replies to user comments on its Facebook page, the ISP wrote that it is currently working to resolve the issue and says it will inform customers once the issue is resolved, though there is currently no timeline on when service will be restored.

"Hi, we are aware of the issue and are working on it. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding. We will send SMS once the issue is resolved," it says.

When visited, the Time website displays a notice, stating that it is currently under maintenance.

According to outage-tracking website downdetector.com, initial user reports appear to have started coming in at around 5:22pm.

Several Time users on social media report that changing their Domain Name System (DNS) resolver to either the Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or the Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1) restored their Internet connection, however, this solution has not been acknowledged by Time.
