The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will available in consumer devices in the next few months.

Qualcomm just unveiled its latest mobile platform, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.

Built on a 4nm process, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 has a prime Cortex-X4 core clocked at 2.8GHz, four performance cores at 2.6GHz, and three Cortex-A520 efficiency cores at 1.9GHz. 

The company says the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 offers a 15% improvement in CPU performance45% GPU improvement, and 5% better power efficiency compared to its predecessor. 

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 supports a wide range of AI models including large language models such as Gemini Nano, Llama 2, and Baichuan-7B.

It is also the first in the series to support Wi-Fi 7 with High Band Simultaneous (HBS) Multi-Link. With Wi-Fi 7 routers slowly but surely coming into the market, this will be a nice feature to have to enjoy faster wireless speeds.

OnePlus, Realme, and Sharp will be among the first phone makers to announce devices powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 in the coming months.
