Sea Stack Bako
The iconic serpent head sea stack of Bako National Park in Sarawak has met a similar fate as Australia's famous 12 Apostles, according to Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC). The SFC's CEO, Abang Arabi Abang A, stated that this natural wonder has suffered significant damage.
The sea stack at Bako National Park, known for its unique shape resembling a serpent's head, has been a popular attraction for tourists and nature enthusiasts. However, due to natural erosion and other factors, it has experienced a similar fate as Australia's 12 Apostles, which are limestone formations along the Great Ocean Road.
The loss of such a remarkable geological formation is indeed disheartening. The sea stack at Bako National Park held immense beauty and cultural significance. Its disappearance serves as a reminder of the fragility of our natural wonders and the importance of preserving them for future generations.
