The Saudi Pro League has been hit by another poorly attended game.
The Middle Eastern division appeared to be one of the emerging forces in football, after an aggressive summer of spending. Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and many more joined Cristiano Ronaldo in the division in a huge influx of talent last summer.
However, many of their sides have endured smaller attendances than lots of non-league football teams in the United Kingdom. This looks to have happened again as Saudi giants Al-Fayha and Al-Riyadh saw less than 1,000 people watch their game.

Only 811 people gathered in the 7,000 capacity Al Majma’a Sport City Stadium to watch the clash between the division's ninth and 15th best teams. Barely 10% of the ground was filled with spectators.
Large sections of the stadium were completely empty due to the lack of spectators present. It's not the first time a clash involving Al-Fayha has seen a pitiful number of fans enter through the gates.

Luke Littler darts fans can back 'The Nuke' in Premier League with his playing shirt
Luke Littler fans can now buy the 17-year-old's playing shirt to support him as he continues to demonstrate his talent in the Premier League.
The darts sensation was only 16 when he wowed Alexandra Palace at the World Darts Championship (WDC), despite a final loss to Luke Humphries.
The Nuke will continue playing against seven of the best dart players in the world — Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross and Peter Wright — in a mini-tournament in a different city every Thursday until the final in May.

In February, Al-Fayha's relegation clash against Al-Hazem saw less than 400 supporters turn up. Critics point to the low numbers when the possibility of the 2030 World Cup being held in the kingdom pops up.
Saudi has invested billions into boxing, football, tennis, F1 and golf to raise their status in the sporting world. In a previous interview with the BBC, Saudi Arabian sports minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal brushed off the low attendances by saying they are still early in the process. "It's building blocks… I'm sure that next year we'll have more attendance," he said.
"Like anywhere in the world there's some matches that attract much more audience than others, but all of our big matches have attracted record numbers so far… we're broadcasting to 147 countries around the world.
"When we planned to develop the league we never thought that we would do it with such pace, but to see that is actually refreshing and it actually showcases the importance of this. Our focus is to develop our league to attract the best in the world."
