Earlier in the week and ahead of the round of fixtures this weekend, I used our poll facility to gauge your opinions.

With the relegation battle taking so many twists and turns – wins, losses, draws and point deductions, I asked the following question:

Who Will Be Relegated With Sheffield United and Burnley?

I gave you three options to choose from:

EvertonNottingham ForestLuton Town

The response, as it always is for our polls, was excellent.

However, with the poll now considered to be closed, I can reveal that a massive 61% of the votes cast predict gloom and doom for Nottingham Forest with a further 20% reckoning Everton will plunge through the relegation trap door.

As for the remaining 19%, they reckon our own stay in the top-flight of English football will end after just one season.

Here’s hoping that the majority have got this poll correct but, perhaps, more importantly, Luton’s future isn’t determined by some mysterious unknown figures pontificating over the appeals Everton and Nottingham Forest have launched relating to their point deduction penalties for exceeding financial spending limits.
