No NS training for Form 5 YOUTH sitting for their SPM exams
No NS training for Form 5 YOUTH sitting for their SPM exams will not be selected for basic military training under the revived National Service Training Programme (PLKN 3.0), says Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
The Defence Minister has announced that students in Form 5 who are preparing for their SPM exams will not be required to undergo National Service (NS) training. This decision has been made to ensure that these students can fully focus on their studies without any distractions. The National Service Training Programme (PLKN 3.0) has been revived to provide military training to eligible individuals, but it will not include those in Form 5 who are currently preparing for their SPM exams.
By exempting Form 5 students from NS training, the government aims to prioritize their education and reduce any unnecessary burden during this crucial period. This move will allow these students to concentrate on their studies and perform to the best of their abilities in the upcoming SPM exams. The decision reflects the government's commitment to supporting the academic success of Malaysian youth and ensuring they have the best possible opportunities for their future.
