30th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) The popular Netflix series “Squid Game 2” continues to capture audiences worldwide, with South Korean actor Park Sung-hoon portraying a transgender character in the show, sparking discussions. However, a recent incident on the 30th saw Park Sung-hoon post a seemingly adult film cover related to the “Squid Game” theme on his personal social media account. Although he promptly deleted the post, it had already been captured and circulated online, prompting global discussions and concerns about the impact on the overall image of the “Squid Game” production team.

On his personal social media account, Park Sung-hoon uploaded a cover of an adult film titled “Squid Game” featuring AV actress Waka Misono. Despite swiftly removing the post, it had already been screenshotted by netizens and widely shared, leading some to speculate that it may affect the reputation of the “Squid Game” series.

Following the uproar, Park Sung-hoon, through his management agency BH Entertainment, attributed the incident to a “mistake.” He explained that he inadvertently posted a message received through private messaging onto his Instagram Story. The actor expressed surprise and issued a statement of reflection regarding the situation.

In “Squid Game 2,” Park Sung-hoon portrays Player 120, a transgender woman and former special forces soldier participating in the game to win the prize money for gender confirmation surgery. Park Sung-hoon is also known for his role as the antagonist “Jae-song” in the 2022 drama “Dark Glory.”

Regarding the mistakenly shared adult film version of “Squid Game 2,” titled “Abalone Game” (DASS-534), it stars AV actresses Waka Misono, and several others. The production took a serious tone, even mimicking Netflix with the name “Dasflix” and creating a “character relationship chart.”

The adult film storyline revolves around Waka Misono’s character being deceived into participating in the “Abalone Game” to help cure her terminally ill boyfriend. The participants include her friend, ex-boyfriend, a secret admirer, and her boss. The female stars in the film sport green tracksuits, with even pink soldiers and a black-masked boss making appearances.

Apart from “Abalone Game,” another AV studio, FALENO, has an online streaming version of “Squid Game,” while some studios have introduced a European edition called “イカセゲーム.” Taiwan also produced a Chinese-named version called “Full Fish Game,” which even simulates the chaotic “Red Light, Green Light” game from the series.
