Hello and welcome to football.london's live blog covering Arsenal’s Premier League match with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. The Gunners get back underway following another extended spell away having not taken part in FA Cup fourth round action.

Mikel Arteta will be wanting to continue his side’s strong form after the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace more than a week ago. The time off has given extra chances for recovery which has been something of a blessing for Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice who both came off during the London derby.

Thomas Partey, however, is not yet ready to return to action despite taking part in training during the week. Mikel Arteta confirmed he is not yet ready to make the squad but could be in contention for the visit of Liverpool.

Arsenal's record in the City Ground is not good having lost the last three visits there. Arteta's side have made a name for themselves of ending bad omens and to keep their title hopes alive they will have to do so again tonight.
