My Hero Academia Season 7 Reveals New Trailer Ahead of May Premiere
My Hero Academia Season 7 revealed a new trailer, and the anime is set to premiere the new season on May 4. A special four-episode My Hero Academia Memories series will broadcast from April 6 to April 27, recapping the story up to the new season. Studio BONES animating once again. TK from Ling Tosite Sigure is performing the opening theme song.
Kenji Nagasaki is the chief director for My Hero Academia 7, whike Naomi Nakayama is the director. Yosuke Kuroda is in charge of the series composition. Hitomi Udashima and Yoshihiko Umakoshi are the character designers. Yuki Hayashi is once again composing the music.
The new season will focus on the Star and Stripe Arc. America’s top Pro Hero, Star and Stripe, voiced by Romi Park, will be coming to Japan to aid in the battle against All Might. However, he is ready to strike back and so is Tomura Shigaraki.
My Hero Academia anime is based on a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi that has been serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The manga received an anime adaptation by studio BONES in 2016. Season 2 aired in 2017, followed by the third season in 2018. The fourth part of the anime series started airing in the fall of 2019 and ended in the winter of 2020. The fifth season aired in 2021, while the sixth and latest aired from October 2022 until March of last year. The franchise also has 3 movies:
- Two Heroes (2018)
- Heroes:Rising (2019)
- World Heroes’ Mission (2021)
In addition to Season 7, My Hero Academia franchise is also getting a new movie, titled You’re Next. The movie is slated to premiere this summer in Japan.
