Hlatshwayo, known for her impressive shooting accuracy and calm demeanour on court, has been a key player for UJ in recent years. Her contributions have been instrumental in the team’s success, including two consecutive appearances in the FNB Varsity Netball final. She has also played for the Limpopo Baobabs in the South African Telkom Netball League.

The Dynamites welcomed Hlatshwayo to their team, emphasizing her impact on their attack. “Muhluri brings flair, power, and a new dimension to our attack,” the team announced on Saturday, 25 January 2025.

Hlatshwayo, a third-year Diploma Accountancy student, is enjoying her experience in Malaysia. “I’ve found that netball is fundamentally the same everywhere,” she says. “The team has a great culture, and I’m enjoying the people and the diverse food here.”

Hlatshwayo encourages aspiring netballers to work hard and seek guidance from experienced coaches. “Believe in yourself and your abilities,” she advises.

She arrived in Malaysia on 17 January and immediately took to court on the 1st of February 2025 when the league opened.
