Leicester City face a tough test when they host Tottenham on Wednesday evening.

The Foxes have played just once since the turn of the year, a match that saw them secure a 4-1 victory over Watford in the FA Cup.

For Spurs this is a match they simply need to win.

After crashing out of the Carabao Cup semi-finals against Chelsea, Antonio Conte’s side will be determined to continue their improved form in the league as they look to challenge for a top four finish.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers: “Antonio [Conte’s] come in and given them a stable base, they’re playing a similar style as they were under Nuno [Espírito Santo].

“The players know the system and where they’re playing. They’re a very good team with very good players.”

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte: “We know that we have to play against a really good team that in the last years they won a title, they are showing they are doing important things in England.

“I think that we have to continue to try to have a good result in the league.

“We know that only after the international break the injured players are ready to come back and it will be difficult to come back from this period.

“It’s not easy to come back from this period when you have many injuries in your squad.

“Then we’ll see if anything comes from this period in the transfer market.”
