How to get two days at Legoland for the price of one this half-term
Legoland Windsor has unveiled a fortnight of special events for families this February half-term and thanks to a special offer you can get two days there for the price of one on selected dates.
The resort's 'Brick Week' extravaganza is running across two full weeks from Saturday, February 12 to Sunday, February 27 so no matter when half-term falls schoolchildren can take part.
The event, which is running for the first time since the start of the pandemic, gives visitors exclusive access to a wide variety of rides and attractions aimed at everyone from toddlers to grown ups.
There are also meet and greets with some of the much-loved Lego characters including the Lego Friends.
More than 30 rides will be open throughout the fortnight, including the UK’s first ever flying theatre ride, The Flight of The Sky Lion found in the heart of the multi-million-pound park's new Lego Mythica land.
Tickets for Brick Week start at £25 per person and have to be booked in advance at www.legoland.co.uk. Children shorter than 0.9 metres get free entry.
But guests booking to stay at either a Legoland or partner hotel on a short break on selected dates get a second day in the park free, saving up to £60 per family.
This deal is valid not only for a variety of dates across the Brick Week half term event but across dates up to the end of June 2022.
The full list of available dates is here.
Legoland Windsor's Helen Bull, Divisional Director said: “ To help spread some Legoland joy we’re kicking off 2022 with an offer which gives families the opportunity to get an extra day of fun and memories in the theme park, free of charge. We can’t wait to welcome families back into the Resort this year."
Brick Week will see Lego Ninjago: The Ride open for the duration, but for fans of all things ninja a host of newly refurbished rooms at the Legoland Resort Hotels are also likely to prove popular.
Four new Lego Ninjago rooms will be opened from February 11, decorated with Ninjago wallpaper and filled with ten new Lego models including a hatching dragon in an egg made up of a whopping 2,842 bricks.
One of the rooms is fully accessible and includes a wet room and hoist.
The premium Lego Ninjago themed hotel rooms sleep up to five people in two separate sleeping areas. There's also a special challenge where young guests can solve hidden clues in the room to unlock a surprise in a secret hidden safe.
As well as the Lego Ninjago rooms, there are pirate, castle, Lego Friends and adventure themed rooms.
All themed rooms include Lego bricks to play with during your stay and a welcome treasure hunt.
Staying at the resort hotels also give guests access to a special Lego pirate themed indoor water play area and swimming pool, free parking and wifi.
An overnight stay in the Legoland Hotel for a family of four including breakfast and park tickets starts at £385, while budget packages at non-themed nearby hotels start at £50 per person with many offering additional extras like welcome goodie bags for kids, deals so children can eat free and car parking.
