Maybank GCFO Khalijah Ismail steps down after internal inquiry

Maybank’s Group CFO, Khalijah Ismail, has stepped down following an internal inquiry, the bank announced in a Bursa Malaysia filing on Feb 17. While Maybank is searching for her replacement, Malique Firdauz Ahmad Sidique has been appointed as acting GCFO. Khalijah, who spent over 30 years at the bank, is reportedly challenging the decision.
