WJSN's Bona Demands Nam Joo Hyuk To Choose Between Her And Kim Tae Ri In “Twenty Five, Twenty One”

Nam Joo Hyuk will be given an ultimatum in the next episode of “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” is set in 1998 and tells the growth story of youth whose dreams are taken from them due to the IMF crisis. It also follows the romance between Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri), who first meet when they are 22 and 18 years old and fall in love when they meet again at age 25 and 21.

On the previous episode of the drama, Na Hee Do transferred to Taeyang High School and became schoolmates with the national fencing athlete Go Yu Rim (WJSN’s Bona). Na Hee Do confessed to Go Yu Rim that she was a huge fan of her, but despite her friendly approach, Go Yu Rim remained cold and unwelcoming. In addition, it was revealed that Baek Yi Jin’s family used to support Go Yu Rim’s fencing when they had been wealthy, raising questions about the intertwined future of Na Hee Do, Go Yu Rim, and and Baek Yi Jin.

The newly released stills capture a tense moment between the three characters. Na Hee Do, Go Yu Rim, and Baek Yi Jin are the book rental store, which is where Baek Yi Jin works. The uneasy atmosphere hints that something dramatic is about to happen.

In more stills, Na Hee Do bursts into anger and raises her voice, causing Baek Yi Jin to grow flustered. Go Yu Rim can’t hide her surprise as she glances between the two. Baek Yi Jin attempts to calm everyone down, but Na Hee Do and Go Yu Rim aren’t fazed by him. Eventually, Go Yu Rim demands, “Oppa, you just choose. Is it me or her?” Tension will be thicker than ever, and viewers are eager to find out how this suffocating situation will be resolved.

Despite the confrontational scene, Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Bona filmed in a friendly atmosphere. During rehearsal, they practiced their lines with laughter. After calming down and taking a deep breath to control their giggles, they started filming with passion and enthusiasm. The three actors were able to create an emotionally tense scene with their skillful performances. Once they were done shooting, they monitored their acting while cracking up from time to time and commenting their thoughts about the scene.

Production company Hwa and Dam Pictures teased that Na Hee Do, Go Yu Rim, and Baek Yi Jin will get tangled up in an unexpected conflict after ending up in the same place. They added, “Don’t miss the 3rd episode, where you can feel the heat and subtle psychological warfare of the hot youth.”

Episode 3 of “Twenty Five, Twenty One” will air on February 19 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
