Children are a blessing, but raising multiple children is not an easy task for parents. This is exactly why family planning is important, as you need to consider your physical and mental health, as well as your financial status, before deciding to have more children. Last year, Datuk Jamal Abdillah and his wife, Datin Zai Izzati Khiruddin, announced that they were expecting their 5th child together.

Although doctors had previously advised the singer’s wife against getting pregnant again due to health concerns, she and her husband expressed their excitement about welcoming another member into their already large family. Yesterday (Tuesday, 7th January), was finally the day arrived when their little bundle of joy was born.

Veteran singer Datuk Jamal Abdillah is now a father of 7 children. His newborn is his 5th child together with his wife Datin Zai Izzati. The 66-year-old icon announced that his daughter was safely delivered at an undisclosed hospital through Caesarean section. “Alhamdulillah, the procedure went well and both mother and daughter are in good health. Allah has truly blessed us. I also want to thank all our friends for their congratulatory messages,” he told reporters.

Shortly after the delivery, the icon posed with his baby, along with the doctor and nurses, for a photo. The artist even shared a video of himself reciting the Azan to his baby girl via WhatsApp to Berita Harian. As for his wife, she officially revealed the name of their daughter, Magdalena Yamani, inspired by the maiden beloved by Prophet Yusuf.

Previously, it was reported that Datin Zai Izzati would undergo a tubectomy after the birth. This is a surgical procedure that blocks the fallopian tubes, preventing the egg released by the ovary from reaching the uterus. However, there has been no update on that plan, but it can be assumed that the procedure will take place once the mother of five has fully recovered.

For now, we would like to congratulate both Jamal Abdillah and Zai Izzati on the birth of their new daughter and wish the singer’s wife a speedy recovery.
