iPhone SE 4 now expected next week, M4 MacBook Air launch ...

The long-anticipated iPhone SE 4 was expected to launch this week. However, the estimates have proved to be a bit off and it looks like there is a little delay in the launch. Mark Gurman, a popular Apple analyst, who had initially predicted that the iPhone SE 4 will launch this week, has revised his prediction and says the launch may now take place next week. Although, he does say, “new iPhone SE is still imminent”. The iPhone SE 4 “should be announced by next week, when the company is holding product briefings,” he says.

Interestingly, as per the latest update from the Apple analyst, the next few days will be quite busy for Apple. According to Gurman, there is going to be a “small announcement” tomorrow. He has not mentioned what the announcement will be about. Gurman also predicts that there is going to be some Apple Vision Pro-related announcement this Friday. “For Friday, Apple Vision Pro reps are reaching out to press about an announcement to come,” he writes.

Additionally, he also claims that the M4 MacBook Air, which is another Apple device with a lot of anticipation around it, will launch in the next few weeks. “M4 MacBook Air within weeks,” Gurman predicts.

If Gurman’s predictions are true, there is a lot to expect from Apple in the coming few weeks. Apple kicked off the purported series of launches with the launch of Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 on Tuesday. The earbuds are aimed at athletes and have a standout feature, which is a heart rate sensor that allows each of the buds to monitor and report heart rate during a workout. The earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with the Transparency mode. The Powerbeats Pro 2 is priced at Rs 29,900.

Apple iPhone SE 4: What to expect

The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is set to get a major design overhaul –– it is expected to move away from its traditional small form factor and adopt an iPhone 14-like design. The affordable iPhone is also believed to replace the Touch ID home button with FaceID, and get a bigger 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate instead of the previous 4.7-inch LCD screen. The iPhone SE 2025 is also believed to bring some big camera improvements with an upgrade to a 48-megapixel rear camera from the 12-megapixel one in iPhone SE 3. The front camera could see a boost to a 24-megapixel sensor.

The general design of the iPhone is expected to resemble the recent iPhones, instead of the rounded edge-design that felt like an iPod. The jury is still out on whether the phone will feature a Dynamic Island but many rumours suggest that the phone will run on Apple A18 chip with 8GB RAM and support Apple Intelligence.
