The Barça One videopodcast ‘La Llotja del 125’, which celebrates the Club's 125th anniversary, has its next episode on Thursday 23 January at 7pm CET from the FC Barcelona Auditori 1899. The topic for this latest programme is the Barça 'style', a characteristic that has made the Club a recognisable and admired well-known global brand. The way of playing with the ball in possession, the emphasis on attack...a way of winning and impressing.
Former Barça players Carles Rexach and José Mari Bakero and journalist Xavi Torres will be joining Andreu Juanola and Sara Loscos to discuss the fascinating topic. The guests will analyse Barça's distinctive style via their own personal experiences, and they will look back at how this way of playing has developed over the Club's long history; from Joan Gamper and beyond.
The videopodcast will be broadcast live on Barça One and will also feature Laia Soler, responsible for the FC Barcelona Centre of Sporting Excellence; Elisabeth Puigdesens, a psychologist at La Masia; Mireia Porta, a nutritionist at the Club's Medical Services; and Berta Carles, a fitness coach. Under discussion will be how the young athletes at La Masia prepare themselves to become elite sportsmen and women and promote the Barça 'style'.
Also forming part of the programme from the sports side of the Club will be Sergi Milà, coordinator of 11 a side youth football; Marc Serra, coordinator for 7 a side football; Pere Romeu, Barça Women coach; and Albert Sánchez, Barça Atlètic coach. They will bring their expertise to bear on the question of how young players inherit Barça's way of playing, and how they apply it on the field.
This latest episode of ‘La Llotja del 125’ will take place in front of an audience made up of FC Barcelona members who expressed an interest in attending the live event by filling out a Social Area form.
