The SRMAP - Amara Raja Centre for Energy Storage Devices was established as a centre of Excellence at SRM university-AP in 2020, to design and develop low-cost, fast-charging, next-generation Lithium-ion battery innovations for smarter E-mobility. The Centre aims at mass production of Lithium-ion batteries for the Indian EV market developing affordable, recyclable and safe cells.
