Xiaomi is preparing to release a new version of the POCO F6, which lands on July 26. In the meantime, the company has showcased what the device looks like, as has a reliable leaker.

The POCO F6 is barely a few months old, having been presented on May 23. Nonetheless, Xiaomi is already seeking to refresh the handset with a limited edition model. As we have discussed previously, Xiaomi has started teasing the device's release. Additionally, the likes of @Sudhanshu1414 have provided brief looks at the handset, which is expected to arrive as the POCO F6 Deadpool Edition.

Now, the same leaker has shared more images of the Deadpool & Wolverine tie-in, although at least one originates from the head of POCO India. Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has adorned the special edition model with various Deadpool and Wolverine motifs, including a logo of the former that sits within the device's LED flash array. Moreover, this branding extends to the device's retail packaging, which we imagine hides a few Deadpool and Wolverine-themed accessories.

Fundamentally, the POCO F6 Deadpool Edition will be the same smartphone as the regular POCO F6 (curr. $395 on Amazon), which Xiaomi sells in China as the Redmi Turbo 3. Thus, the Deadpool Edition will feature a 1220p and 120 Hz AMOLED display that measures 6.67-inches across, as well as a 50 MP primary camera complemented by optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired charging. The POCO F6 Deadpool Edition will be one of a few handsets to sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset too when it debuts on July 26 in India.
