BMW Korea has released a full-change model

BMW Korea has released a full-change model "New X2" of its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) "X2" in the domestic market. Compared to the previous model, the wheelbase has increased by 20mm to improve its spatiality, and it is equipped with new operating systems "OS9" and "T-Map"-based navigation that will be introduced from this year.

BMW Korea announced on the 4th that it will officially launch 'New X2' in the domestic market. The X2 is BMW's small SUV segment vehicle, which BMW Korea classifies as SAV (Sports Activity Coupe). Although it is a compact-sized vehicle, the model has increased its length by 195mm, width by 5mm, and height by 65mm, providing a wider second row and trunk space.

BMW's latest design point, Iconic Glow (light applied to the rim of the vehicle grill), is also the first compact SUV to be applied. The interior space was equipped with a 10.25-inch driver's seat display and a 10.7-inch center display. The 'X2 xDreive20i', which was released as a gasoline model, combines a four-cylinder turbo engine with a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 30.6kg·m, and a double-clutch 7-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.

In particular, from this model, the latest operating system OS9 will be installed, allowing the use of T-map-based navigation. By updating the latest traffic conditions in real time based on online streaming, drivers can find the best route in real time. With the application of OS9, in addition to the applications registered in the BMW App Store, various third-party applications such as "Melon," "FLO," "SBS Gorilla," and "Spotify" can be installed and used.

The New X2 will be released in a single trim of the "X2 xDreive20i M Sports Package" and will cost 68.3 million won. In the second half of this year, BMW Korea is also planning to launch the X2's sibling, the pure electric model 'New iX eDrive 20' and the high-performance gasoline model 'New X2 M35i'.
