50 games for Iñigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsí with FC Barcelona

Aside from debuts for Szczęsny and Toni Fernández in the Copa del Rey 4-0 win at Barbastro, there was also Iñigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsí reaching 50 official appearances for FC Barcelona. 

Iñigo Martinez was included in the starting XI and played 62 minutes before being replaced by Pau Cubarsí, allowing both of them to reach the half century mark in a season where they have been fixtures at the back for Hansi Flick. 

Partnership 

Cubarsí made his debut in January 2024, less than a year ago, in a Copa del Rey against Unionistas. Iñigo Martinez arrived at Barça in the summer of 2023 and his first appearance in a Barça shirt came in September 2023 against Osasuna in La Liga. This season he has made 26 appearances already, more than he made in the whole of last season.
