Anzac Day
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. It is observed on April 25th each year and is a time for reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who served.
A Veteran's Tale of Love and Service
A Brisbane aged care resident, Ronald Stanley James, recently shared his story of service and how it was during his military service that he met the love of his life. Ronald was married to his wife for close to six decades and their love story is a testament to the strength and resilience of those who serve.
On this Anzac Day, we remember and honor the sacrifices made by Ronald and all those who served. We are grateful for their service and for the love and dedication they showed to their country and to each other.
