Tottenham team confirmed vs Man City Kulusevski and Hojbjerg start Lucas sub Reguilon absent
Here is the Tottenham team Antonio Conte has named for this evening's Premier League clash against Manchester City

Antonio Conte has made four changes to his Tottenham team for this evening's Premier League clash against Man City.

On the losing side last Sunday with Wolves securing a 2-0 win in north London, Spurs need to bounce back if they want to keep in touch with their top-four rivals.

Following three successive defeats in the Premier League, Conte has switched things about as he looks to get back on track.

Eric Dier is one of the players to come in following his recent thigh injury and he takes his place in the back three alongside Cristian Romero and Ben Davies.

Emerson Royal returns to the team in place of Matt Doherty after dropping down to the bench against Wolves, with Ryan Sessegnon continuing at left wing-back with Sergio Reguilon absent after testing positive for Covid.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is another to come back into the Spurs XI from last time out and that subsequently see Harry Winks drop down to the bench.

Finally, Dejan Kulusevski starts after his early introduction against Wolves and is set to play in the No.10 role behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min as Lucas Moura misses out on selection.

With Man City winning 14 of their last 15 Premier League games and triumphing 5-0 in midweek against Sporting CP in the Champions League, Conte is expecting a very tough evening at the Etihad Stadium.

"For sure it will be a tough game for us - but at the same time we want to try to play and we want to try to use this game also to have a step for improvement," he explained.

"In this game you understand also the distance, the gap that you have with the other - but you want to play without fear - also because I repeat we are in a moment that we have to go through this situation if we want to have another step and the game against City we know it could be very tough.

"Manchester City in my opinion is the favourite to win the league this season and also is one of the favourites for the Champions League because we are talking about a team who are very very strong in every aspect – the squad and I don’t see weakness in this team."
