Vini Jr. awarded the trophy for best LaLiga player in March

In the lead up to the Real Madrid-Barcelona match at the Santiago Bernabéu, Vini Jr. was presented with the trophy for the LaLiga EA Sports Player of the Month for March, chosen in a vote by the fans. The forward was recognised for a spectacular month, where he scored five goals in the three matches he played for Real Madrid in the league.

The Brazilian scored both goals in the first match of March, at Mestalla against Valencia, in Real Madrid's 2-2 draw. He was also on the scoresheet in the 4-0 win over Celta at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and bagged another brace against Osasuna at El Sadar (2-4), in the third and last game Vini Jr. played in March.
