Chinese group, fighting U.S. sanctions, says platform can replace Windows and Android
TAIPEI -- Huawei Technologies' Harmony operating system is making inroads overseas, helped by partnerships with players such as ride-hailer Grab and the airline Emirates, the Chinese tech group said on Tuesday.
Huawei said the growing adoption of Harmony -- its answer to Google's Android and Microsoft Windows -- marks a milestone in the company's continuing battle against a U.S. crackdown.
