Huawei Digital Power has showcased its next-generation FusionSolar Smart PV+ESS solutions with the theme: ‘Lighting Up A Greener Nigeria’, at Nigeria Energy Week 2024, which held in Lagos this week.

The Huawei Digital Power booth showcased the manufacturer’s cutting-edge solutions and global success stories for utility-scale, ESS, C&I (commercial and industrial), and residential application scenarios; a true depiction of versatility and excellence.

Huawei FusionSolar SUN2000-5/6/8/10/12K-MAP0 (MAP0), which offers higher efficiency, outstanding reliability, and industry leading safety features, which is a

three phase inverter, features excellent efficiency of +98.4%, Intelligent AFCI Protection, and Lightning Protection, which catapults the company’s residential category into a full solution provider, with class leading safety features for peace of mind.

Accommodating three-phase unbalance, the MAP0 inverter delivers a stable power supply for various appliances without relying on the grid. Power allocation optimization enhances green energy utilization efficiency, for a seamless experience and lower electricity bills.

The MAP0 can be safely overloaded, now supporting 100-110% continuous overload, 150% working for 5mins (single-phase), 1mins for three-phase, 200% overload for 10s.

With this strong overload capability, for temporary high appliance usage, residential users have no more worries of safety or equipment compromise.

Thanks to the Smart Module Controller, each PV panel can work to deliver maximum power, unaffected by partial shading or module failure, and achieve accelerated power generation with higher yields of up to 30%. Ensure full use of your rooftop by installing more solar panels in every available space and providing a higher green power yield.

The Smart Module Controller enables solar panels to operate independently without interfering with one another; this allows for flexible installation on the rooftop, without fear of shadows, and maximizes the utilization of the surface area.

The controller brings a reassuring, ultimate safeguard; with any emergency, the inverter will be switched off instantly due to the rapid shutdown (RSD) function, which means the module voltage will be reduced to clear potential risks on a high-voltage rooftop for emergency personnel or firefighting safety.

The FusionSolar app allows installers to instantly view the location and power generation status of all solar panels. In case of any malfunction, precise repairs can be carried out, reducing operational and installation costs, and improving overall efficiency.

One of the key devices for realizing the vision of a zero-carbon household is the residential energy storage system. Through Module+ architecture innovation, the Huawei LUNA S0 has achieved class leading status in various aspects, paving a new path for the future development of residential energy systems and setting a new benchmark for the industry once again.

The built-in optimizer independently manages each battery module. When a certain pack is aged or limited, others still work at their best, generating maximum energy. The usable energy yield, can be increased by more than 10%* in the lifecycle.

Individual optimization of each battery module allows for scalable mixed use of old and new battery packs. Each new battery will take full advantage of its capacity without loss.

Building upon Huawei’s established expertise in the PV industry, LUNA2000 S0 offers 4-layer protection from cell level to electrical level, structural

level and emergency protection level.
