Serie A line-ups: Fiorentina vs. Inter Football Italia

There is so much at stake, as Inter can recapture top spot with a victory, while Fiorentina need a win to take back fourth and are forced into a late change, but the Nerazzurri midfield has to be revamped.

It’s a completely revamped midfield with Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani, while Carlos Augusto also steps in for Federico Dimarco on the left.

Alessandro Bastoni returns from a muscular injury, with Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez as usual upfront.

Fiorentina have issues too, as captain Cristiano Biraghi sits out a ban, with Gaetano Castrovilli, Dodo and Oliver Christensen injured, Christian Kouame at AFCON.

Nico Gonzalez is available again after six weeks out with a thigh strain, but only on the bench, while Josip Brekalo is left out pending his imminent transfer to Hajduk Split.

Riccardo Sottil was originally named in the starting XI, but was replaced by M’Bala Nzola after failing a fitness test.

These sides faced off in last season’s Coppa Italia Final, while Inter won 4-0 at San Siro in September.
