Acer Launches Revo Box MiniPC AOPEN QF18S And Vero PL2530i Projectors
Acer has launched the Revo Box RB102 Mini-PC, as well as two projectors today, but only the former is available immediately

Acer announced three new products for the local market today, consisting of one mini PC and two projectors. The former is the Revo Box RB102, while the latter consists of the AOPEN QF18S and the Vero PL2530i.

Starting with the Acer Revo Mini-PC, the spec sheet lists two processor options, which are an Intel Core 15-1334U and an Intel Core i7-1355U. The rest of the items in the spec sheet are effectively identical, with the two sharing 16GB of DDR4 SDRAM, and 512GB of M.2 PCIe 4 storage. While we’re here, there are two M2 slots available in case you need to switch the default out.

In terms of connectivity, there’s support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5. Ports include four USB-A 3.2 Gen2, a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 with 15W PD, a 3.5mm audio jack, a DisplayPort 1.4a, a HDMI 2.1 port, and two RJ45 LAN ports. The Acer Revo Box RB102 Mini-PC also gets VESA mount compatibility if you need it.

Acer says that both variants of the Revo Box RB102 Mini-PC are available now, via its online store or authorised retailers. The i5 model is priced at RM2,049 while the i7 model gets a RM2,699 price tag instead.

Moving on to the projectors, let’s start with the Acer AOPEN QF18S. This comes with a Full HD resolution, mercury-free lamps with a 30,000 hour lifespan, dual 5W speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. The latter, the brand touts as a feature for “instant music sharing”, in addition to the expected movie-watching medium. On that front, it comes with auto focus tech, and 13,000 Lumens output, as well as support for HDMI 1.4 and USB-A 2.0 input.

Finally, we have the Acer Vero PL2530i, which shares the native Full HD resolution and 30,000 hours lamp lifespan, but the brand says it also supports up to UHD output. Instead of two speakers, it has a single 15W speaker, with its maximum brightness rated at 5,000 Lumens. It’s also built on the Earthion platform, meaning that it’s made up of 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, while the packaging is 85% recycled paper.

Both of these projectors are not available immediately, with Acer saying they will be on shelves sometime in January 2025 instead. As for their prices, the AOPEN Q18S will cost RM1,199 when that happens, while the Vero PL2530i getting a RM3,999 price tag instead.
