Coachella 2022: Reunion of K-pop icons 2NE1 stuns fans at 88rising show
Consider the K-pop world absolutely stunned.
A reunion took place on the main stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday when South Korean girl group 2NE1 re-joined one of its members, CL, after her solo performance. It was the first time the group performed on stage together since it officially disbanded in 2016.

It was one of many performances as part of the 88rising music company’s Head in the Clouds Forever showcase, which also included artists like Jackson Wang, Hikaru Utada and BIBI.

“Are you ready for the B-E-S-T,” CL asked the crowd with her former band members on stage beside her, before performing “I Am the Best.”
Described by Billboard as one of K-pop’s most iconic girl groups, it was no surprise that fans, known as “blackjacks,” were losing it on social media.
